How long have you worked or Red Door Cleaning for? Since 2016
Why do you love cleaning? It gives me a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. Also, that feeling when you move around in a clean environment is glorious!
If you’re not cleaning, what else are you doing with your time? I read books on self-development and finance. Spending time with my husband because we’re best friends and arguing with him because he is also my best enemy LOL
Why do you love working for Red Door Cleaning? Because Karen is such an awesome lady boss. She is also very considerate and understanding.
What is one thing that surprised you when you started working for Red Door Cleaning? Karen trusts me and her other employees in the buildings. She knows we will do a good job without supervision. Whenever there’s a complaint from the client, she addresses it in a very nice manner
If you didn’t have to work, what would you do with your time? Go back home and care for my 87 year old mom.
What was your first job ever? I started working as an elementary school teacher back home in the Philippines right after I graduated from University.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever heard? Nothing is impossible if you work hard for it
What is the weirdest fact you know? The only muscle that never tires is the heart.
If you could take a month to travel anywhere, where would you go? Europe.
Are you a cat person or a dog person? Neither, I am very allergic and even a single strand of these animals’ hair makes me sneeze non-stop. But to be clear, I like animals. I would consider a non-hair shedding dog. A small one.
What is an interesting fact about yourself? I am the youngest in the family. I have 12 siblings – 8 girls and 4 boys. 5 of my sisters had breast cancer in their 30’s and 40’s and 1 did not survive. She dies at the age of 36 because the cancer spread. Just a couple of months ago, the 3 of them have cancer bag again. Thank gosh they’re on the road to recovery now.
What is one non-work related goal that you would like to achieve in the next five years? To travel and become financially stable so I can help the less fortunate people back home.
